Overview: This little volume is the fascinating story of the World Reformed Fellowship from its early beginnings. History is too big a word, for in reality Timeline would be more accurate. But the story is in fact a continuation of the tradition begun by the great 16th century reformers. John Calvin expressed the dream that the churches of the reformation would extend throughout the world. This Reformed tradition was not merely the Scottish or Dutch expressions, but included many Reformed communities including the Anglicans and Congregationalist and Baptist in the Puritan tradition in England. But as pastor and theologian Andrew McGowan has expressed it, there are various strands or families throughout the world that are seeking to proclaim the best expression of Biblical theology. And this theology begins with the sovereign God who reveals Himself in the Holy Scriptures.
