The first, beginning with Luther and Zwingli, is a brilliant historical survey showing the point to which Protestantism had evolved and much larger section treats of John Wesley himself and his associates; it is concerned of course wih Wesley's life and personality, but it treats also Wesley's theology with a theologian's mastery.
