Religious Tolerance and the Christian Faith : A Study concerning the Concept of Divine Omnipotence in the Indonesian Constitution in the light of Islam and Christianity
Outline: The annihilation of distance through the achievements of modern World technology has brought all the living "great" religions, all over this world, into a much closer contact with one another than ever before. A World Civilization, which is actually in progress, has become a part of our daily life. Amidst this momentous worldwide progress, we are encountering the challenge of the concept of "religious tolerance", increasingly held in our time. Evidently, this challenge is brought forth primarily by the pluralism of religious loyalties, since most of the religious have respectively claimed a share of the truth. It is, therefore, the objective of this book to investigate and analyze contemporary challenges and merits of the "concept of religious tolerance" to the adherents of religions.
