Outline: Each video in the IBCD Observation series applies the philosophy and methodology of "one-another" biblical counseling to the complexities of helping others through life's struggles. These three sessions focus on "Richard," a committed Christian since his conversion in the 70's Jesus movement. Recently he has begun to struggle with serious discouragement, at times bordering on depression. He wishes he had made different decisions with regard to church, work and family and is finding himself growing bitter about the way things have turned out. Meeting with him is IBCD counselor Tom Maxham. Like many Christians, Richard knows and believes the gospel but is struggling to see how it intersects with his current situation. These videos will help train and equip viewers to deal with these kinds of personal issues in the church.
