Cross-Cultural Church Planting for Probies : Envisioning and Facilitating Holistic Church Planting among unreached people groups from preparation to enclosure
Outline: Probie means probationary. Although it is not a term normally used for missionaries, it fits the new tentmaker generation. The probie is the new guy in the block, the rookie. We have been there and stayed there a long time. When you are in a cross-cultural situation, it seems you are always a probie in some sense. The veterans are too busy to explain all the details to you, or they just want you to learn them on your own, or they may not know them. But it is not that easy when there is so much to learn. It is really difficult to master cross-cultural church planting.
