Church Growth in Mexico
Outline : A most exciting phenomenon during the past thirty years is the expansion of the Protestant movement in Latin America. Little consideration, however, has been given to the reasons for the growth, or to the reasons for much development in some areas and little in others. The authors here make a first-hand report of the factors that tend to cause static churches and those that definitely produce growing churches. They have provided a map of the provinces of Mexico and charts that show the progress made by each denomination working in this strategic nation. While dealing exclusively with one country, this timely and important survey presents principles and suggests policies that are applicable wherever Christian missions are present.
